The Stainless Steel Patina
Heating the steel initiates a chemical reaction between iron and oxygen that creates a thin oxide layer on the metal. From the very first burn, this stove will begin to change colors. Gold, Purple, Blue, and Green will continue develop on the firebox and pipe the more the heater is used.
About Our Patio Heater
The New elite series of Timber Wood Pellet Patio Heaters brings performance and style into one great product. Providing head to toe heat is the focus of this heater but with the added bonus of an elegant stainless steel design. Requiring no electricity, this heater’s flame is powered only by gravity and the draft created from the stove pipe. Using wood pellets as an Eco-friendly alternative fuel just makes sense when compared to the high price and inefficiency of propane. Pellets run at a quarter of the operating cost, while producing twice the amount of BTU’s.

We are very impressed with the Revere large size heater. It does everything they promise and is quite well made. Assembly took about two hours but I went slowly and referred often to the directions. I will say the optional step at the end, to secure the stack sections with included sheet metal screws, is well-advised. The sections will shift and tilt a bit when moved unless you drill pilot holes and install a couple screws. Regardless, I would highly recommend this product. Also, consider buying the protective frame. This heater puts out a lot of heat and the frame makes it much safer to have kids and pets around. I will be going back to buy one as an add on.

My wife gave this heater to me as an early Christmas present. She had asked me what I wanted so I went out on a limb and asked for the Revere Elite with the added weight plate and castor wheels. I could not be happier with this product, it is well built, beautiful and most of all functional! We live in Las Vegas, this is just the heater to cut the desert chill!

Heater is awesome looking and puts out tremendous amount of heat. Would encourage anyone assembling heater to watch video on you tube as a reference will save you time in the end.

This is a fantastic patio heater that provides a significant amount of heat and has allowed me to enjoy my backyard well into the winter months. I bought the Big Timber, and even though it’s quite expensive, I think it’s worth every cent.
Pros: significant amount of heat from the ground up through to the top of the chimney, easy to light, easy to move around, easy to clean, very relaxing to watch the flames.
Cons: sharp edges on the square chimney top poke holes in the cover rendering it useless when it rains, I’ve had to place a towel over the top before I put the cover on, and now also use a tarp because the cover has holes. Not easy to turn off if the hopper is full – I can’t jam the shutoff down through the pellets if the hopper is more than half full (this just takes a bit more planning), and lastly the vent on the front uses a screw so it has to be turned a few times to the right to tighten it up, could be a better design.

Ease of operation, quality of design and construction along with more than sufficient heating ability.

First is the obvious care in production, except for a couple of spun nuts on the top back panel everything seems to be perfect. The service received from Karen Traeger with the ordering/shipping issues was OUTSTANDING! Absolutely love the heater so far, with chilly nights coming soon I think it will be tested thoroughly. There are probably a few things I would change on the heater but not a single complaint so far, a little pricey but VERY nice product!

Great product, looks amazing and heats well. Only suggestion would be to install channels on both sides of the hopper so an individual could control the follow of pellets.

The new revere edition is amazing! We upgraded from the regular big timber and couldn’t be happier with it. The bigger windows really show off the fire and the stainless body is holding up nicely, especially since we live in the pnw.
