BBQ Beans

Ingredients:

Three 28-ounce cans baked beans, preferably Bush’s Original Baked Beans

1 medium green bell pepper, seeded, deveined, and cut into quarter-inch dice

1 small onion, cut into quarter-inch dice

1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce

1/2 cup packed light-brown sugar

2 tablespoons yellow mustard

1/2 cup finely chopped celery

4 tablespoons ketchup

2 pounds ground beef

Preparation:

Fry ground beef, breaking into small chunks. Drain off grease.

Put beans and remaining ingredients into a large pot.

Mix in ground beef. Stir thoroughly.

Fire grill and set on 275°.

Method:

Grill uncovered for 45 minutes.

Stir, and cook for an additional 30 minutes.

Serve warm.
